Our research and industrial grade optical breadboards provide the near perfect flatness (not more than +/- .001" per square foot), rigidity, damping and precision that are requisites for optical scientists. The mounting surface is made of anodized aluminum, but we offer a stainless steel line for special applications. Our breadboards are fully non-magnetic and experience minimal deflection under load due to the stainless steel honeycomb core and aluminum top and bottom plates.

Large optical breadboards are drilled on our in-house manufactured, specialized drilling machines. Breadboard sizes up to 14 feet wide by unlimited length are precision drilled on these machines, which run 24 hours a day. Our low prices are due to this automated and highly efficient manufacturing method.
Hole Sizes
Holes are drilled on a standard 1" grid. Custom grid layouts available upon request.
Tap sizes: 4-40, 6-32, 8-32, 10-24, 1/4-20, 1/4-28, 5/16-18, 5/16-24. M6, M3.
