Chocolate / ConfectionaryContact us today for help with your screen printing application. Learn more about the Model F1 Screen Printing Machine Chocolates can be decorated through the screen printing process to create fantastic and custom designs. For higher volumes, it is typically done by printing the desired image with cocoa butter and food coloring onto transfer sheets. A vacuum table on the printer will hold the transfer sheet during printing and automatically releases it afterwards. The cocoa butter is heated with a heating plate or microwave to liquify it prior to putting it into the screen. A heat lamp placed near the screen will keep the cocoa butter liquified. A heater is attached to the squeegee holder and the flood bar to keep the cocoa butter from solidifying on them. The images for many chocolates are printed onto the transfer sheet and chocolate poured onto the sheet will pick up the printed image. The alternative is to print the colored cocoa butter directly onto chocolates in which case they are loaded directly onto the screen printer. Systematic Automation's Model F1 Screen Printer is widely used for printing transfer sheets and for direct printing onto chocolates. Our other machine models, including those with sliding tables and rotary indexers, are also commonly used. |
