Printing Your Brewery Glassware Has Never Been So Simple!
Brewery glassware is high in quality and unlikely to be tossed away like plastic cups. Your cost of goods is as a result more expensive and requires precision screen printing to ensure there are no wasted products.
Glass can be printed with either UV or solvent based inks. UV inks offer an instant cure after printing but glassware typically requires pretreatment to maintain adhesion and a cylindrical UV curing unit. The UV inks must be exposed to UV light in order for the ink go through its chemical reaction to cure. Solvent based inks can air dry in a few hours or dry in the oven in few minutes. Solvent based inks typically do not require pretreatment for adhesion. Your scale of production is a great indicator for your choice of solvent vs. UV inks.If you are going to use UV inks, try our rotary index UVSP for curing your glassware.
